ELIXIA delivers record result – both financially and for public health
SATS ASA, the parent company of ELIXIA, presents a record-high result for Q2 2023, delivering an EBITDA of NOK 194 million, following up a strong first quarter of 2023. This is a result of continuous member growth, price adjustments, and cost discipline to meet inflationary pressure.
- Today, we are presenting a strong financial result. This demonstrates our ability to deliver strong results over time. We continuously improve our product, and our employees provide outstanding training experiences, which have resulted in a record-high number of visits at our clubs – our members are more active than ever, says CEO Sondre Gravir.
The total number of workout sessions increased by 16% compared to the second quarter of 2022, not only because of a larger member base but also a higher workout frequency per member. The number of workout sessions is an important key performance indicator for both SATS and public health in the Nordics. Over the past year, SATS/ELIXIA members have contributed to NOK 21.6 billion in socio-economic welfare gain by investing in their own health.
