Revenue growth and record financial result for SATS, ELIXIA parent company
SATS ASA, the parent company of ELIXIA, today presents record high revenues and financial results for Q1 2024, as well as a new visit records in the clubs.
The total revenues for the first quarter of 2024 increased by 8% compared to the first quarter last year, reaching NOK 1,294 million. Operating profit (EBITDA before IFRS 16) increased by 27% and ended at NOK 174 million.
SATS members completed 13 million workouts in the first quarter which contributed to a significant positive effect on public health. SATS increased its membership base to 736,000 members, with more members choosing SATS' popular group training offer as part of their membership.
“We are pleased to report a very good start to the 2024 training year for SATS due to continued investment in our product offering. An increased share of new members choose membership that gives access to both group training and a wide selection of clubs. This results in our members being more active than ever, and we continue to deliver on our vision of making people healthier and happier,” says Sondre Gravir, CEO of SATS.
SATS is experiencing strong growth in visits to group classes, which increased by 10%. The increase can be attributed to SATS' successful product launches, particularly in HIIT, yoga and pilates.
“Our new group training concepts have been well received across all member segments. We look forward to launch additional new products that will get more people active,” says Gravir.
